I've avoided starting a blog for years, but I'm committing to a movement to finish at least one project a month in the year 2009. We'll see how things go! For now, here are pictures of the 2 possibilities for January. One is a purse made from placemats and the other is to finish this applique quilt. The pattern for the quilt is similar to a quilt found in Kim Diehl's Simple Blessings.
"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection."
